"Traditional plastic recycling converts a single type of plastic into a homogeneous product. In contrast, we convert mixtures of plastic into new materials that we refer to as mixed plastic lumber (MPL for short).

 

The heterogeneity of this mixed plastic lumber provides benefits that are not achieved from traditional plastic recycling. For example, some of the components in the mixture strengthen the lumber, while others give the lumber its unique appearance."
